April 16th Meeting
Resin Demo with Jennifer Heynen and Jangles Trunk Show. Jennifer will demonstrate the use of resin in some simple ceramic bezels and the fun you can have selecting items to be incorporated. Her demo will be followed by a trunk show of there wildly fun ceramic beads, some finished jewelry and kits including resin kits. She will also be raffling off one of her ceramic bead books for the Guild.
Upcoming meetings:
May 21st – Photographing Your Jewelry with Carl Israel. Carl will provide some tips and techniques for photographing your jewelry. In addition, each member is encouraged to bring 1 to 3 of their favorite pieces of jewelry that they have made and get it photographed for the Member’s Gallery on our website.
June 18th – Review of the Bead and Button Show, Classes and Workshops. We will share details from the show, display our finished projects from the workshops and classes and discuss interest in potential future workshops for the Guild.
July 16th – Barbara Becker-Simon Presentation and Trunk Show.
Barbara will present a bit of walk down memory lane to give you some insight before you view her current work. She has been an artist all her life, a goldsmith/jeweler for 40 years, a beadmaker for 13 years and a teacher throughout. Take a look through this window into 4 decades of making art to wear. Her presentation will be followed by a trunk show of loose glass beads, PMC work, and finished jewelry. Copies of her recently published book, "Metal Clay Beads" will also be available for sale."

Meeting Information
The South Florida Jewelry Arts Guild holds it's meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
Meetings are open to the general public, $8 admission fee, first meeting free. Annual membership dues are $45.
