Make fold-formed cabochons and set them in sterling silver for a spectacular pendant and earring set. This is a class for all levels. You only need to have some soldering experience to take this class.
Students Will Learn:
How to cut sheet metal with a bench shears, shop shears and a jeweler’s saw
Fold forming sheet metal
Texturing metal with stamps
How to curve a fold-formed sheet into a cabochon
How to shape and solder thick bezels
How to tab-set a cabochon

flat nose standard pliers
round nose pliers
small plastic container with lid for patina application, needs to fit the 3 pieces
small plastic caps to support the 3 pieces inside the container
white rubber eraser

Gisela Kati Andara is a former civil engineer and a pottery and glass studio owner. After moving to Miami, having three boys and getting the last one into kindergarten, she enrolled in a college-level jewelry and metalsmithing class.
After finishing the two and a half year class, she has been working independently in her new jewelry/pottery/glass studio for the last 6 years.
In 2016,Gisela Kati taught eight workshops at the Bead and Button Show. She is currently working on a jewelry projects book.
