Lynn Yuhr Polymer Clay Earring Design

This one-day class will explore simple shapes and designs that can be used when creating earrings whether using posts or earring wires. The first half of the class is creating our polymer pieces using simple shapes and thinking about symmetry or asymmetrical design, the weight of the earrings and how to imbed findings. The second half of the class is putting them together with earring wires you will make yourself.

SFJAG’s annual Member Teach it Forward retreat dates are October 13th – 15th, 2017. This is our guild’s signature event, only open to our members. Its a great way to learn new skills, improve existing ones, and to get to know each other in a pleasant, social setting. You can’t beat the price – only $350 for double occupancy, FULLY inclusive – room, food, classes, drink. And this year, an outstanding grand price!

Liisa Turunen Registration now Open

Join SFJAG on August 26th and 27th for bead weaving artist Liisa Turunen, who will be presenting two projects, The Mirage Bracelet, sparkling crystals on the top and sides, embellished with pearls, and the Pallas Necklace, a reversible necklace named after the Pallas Cat.

 

 

Club Bead 2018

Registration for Club Bead 2018 is now open. Our 2nd annual Club Bead will feature world-renowned instructors Cynthia Rutledge, Melanie Potter, and Nancy Cain, teaching at the lovely all-inclusive Club Med Sandpiper Bay in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Club Bead will take place from February 1st through the 5th of 2018.

 

Out on a Lark

Join our own Linda Landy for a fun class in bead embroidery, entitled “Out on a Lark.” The focus of this dramatic bead embroidered collar is a spectacular songbird in all his feathered glory sitting on background of bonded silk Dupioni fabric with a delicately stitched frame. Registration opens July 1st for SFJAG members.
