Class Description

Color mixing and pattern design inspired by Mondrian are used to create deceptively simple but graphically powerful polymer clay canes.  Yet, the impact of this cane is dramatically altered by scale. If used at their created size they can make a strong statement while a reduced version provides an overall pattern.  Multiple variations of the Mondrian cane will be created. Some will be reduced while others used in their full size. We will focus on combining the various canes with supporting solids and stripes creating veneers.  The application of these veneers will be in the form of a focal piece used for a lariat along with a few supporting beads. Lynn will also demo other options such as earrings and a bangle to match. All experience levels welcome.
